I've had this bug in the last few weeks now that has been quite annoying. Every time I launch theater view with my remote using the following command--Theater View: Home:



This friendly little box pops up instead.



If I exit out of the popup, and try the same remote button again, I get into Theater View, but the box pops up again:



I'm glad I have an escape button on my remote or else I would be out of luck. As it stands now it is just an inconvenience, especially since my HTPC is also my home server, I'm entering and exiting Theater View a lot.

Any ideas on it's cause? It could be system specific, but I'd like to hear if anyone else is experiencing this before I go into troubleshooting mode.

If you need a build version for when it started I think I may have mentioned it offhand here awhile ago so I could check my post history.

I'm not seeing this, but I use the mcc command instead to open theater view..
mc21.exe /mcc 22001,1
might help you to trouble shoot.
