Windows 10 problem
« on: August 25, 2015, 12:57:37 am »

I've installed Win 10 and have to say that everything went seamlessly. Which isn't to say that there aren't any problems.

When playing a flac file - Sophie Ellis-Bextor Wanderlust - the sound breaks up every time I try to load a new web page. It doesn't happen with mp3 files, I can open 1/2 a dozen pages without it affecting the sound in any way.

I've also noted that when using the JR Media server there is a much longer 'lag' between starting the program on the PC and it actually starting on the TV, noticebally longer than it was with Win7.

Might be of interest to others and, who knows, someone might have an explanation/suggestion.

Cheers.

P.S. C'mon Jarryd Hayne!

It may be another antivirus problem like these:

FLAC files are bigger than MP3 files and would take longer to load.

If you're playing over a network, that might be a factor.

I read DH's post re Antimalware Service Executable but the YouTube link given there doesn't function.

Here is the YouTube link.  http://youtu.be/-NV45Mmn7TE (I also tried it without the period and the hyphen)
