Licensing question
tlcmd:
JimH,
I'm confused. I have the MC 20 Linux license (from the upgrade to MC19) which I just used yesterday to restore MC20 to my computer after it crashed. I also just installed MC21.0.4 for Debian Linux (under "help") which tells me that is not registered. Where do I go from here?
Thanks.

JimH:
From the MC21 menu, try the option to buy the license. You should get a reduced price.
Or if you have a Master License for MC21, you can use that to restore.
tlcmd:
Jim,
I'm now really confused. The license charge for Linux MC21 offered is not a discounted price; it is $39.98.
How do I get the reduced price, or even a master license and what is that price. I've seen $26.98 on one post??
Can you please help and clarify this licensing cost. I don't mind paying for it, but the pricing seems to be really varied.
I have the Windows MC19 and the Linux 19 which has been successfully upgraded to MC20.
Help, please.
Thanks,
tlcmd
Awesome Donkey:
Jim, I see in the Upgrade Help post there's direct upgrade links for the Windows and Mac builds, but not for the Linux build. Is there going to be a direct link added at some point for the Linux upgrade? Pretty sure such a link would solve this issue.
bob:
If you install a MC20 license on a MC21 linux build you should be prompted to go to the proper update page.
There was an issue in builds up through 21.0.4 where what didn't work properly on linux.
It will be fixed when the new builds come out today.
