Audio stops momentarily
« on: September 07, 2015, 10:18:32 pm »

my mc20 runs on a windows7 environment, connected thru usb2 to my Benchmark DAC. While it works very well, i suffer random interrupts, lasting no more than one second, then back to normal. What ca be the source of those interruptions??

you are going to have to be specific about your audio config ... there are a  lot of variables.  ;)

Is your set-up significanty different than described on the wiki page here http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Audio_Setup Like are bitstreaming for instance? could be you changed the latency settings? Are the media files on the PC locally, on a NAS?

I'd make sure all your drivers are up-to-date, and your AV is not scanning the files again and again, and you are on the most current version of JRiver 20 (top of the board if not sure). So maybe some details first? Otherwise I think it could be sort of a waste to just guess what could be causing this
