Title: "Screen grab to thumbnail" no longer makes a file in the DATA\Screengrabs folder
Post by: fitbrit on January 10, 2008, 09:19:28 am
When I used to make a screengrab to thumbnail it would generate a file that could be used to populate other cover art (from file). Now the file doesn't seem to be generated, and I have to to use the cover art copy and paste functions. Not a big deal, but I liked having the files to go back to. Has this feature been deliberately axed, or is there something weird with my system?

The folder has changed. If you are looking for disk files created, you can find them in your "Application Data\J River\Media Center 12\Data\ScreenGrab\ folder.

If you just can not create any screengrab, make sure you do not use Legacy Video Renderer, which is unreliable in image grab.

Wow, that's so strange. When I go to Cover Art: Get from file it goes automatically to my old folder which is nowhere near the location of the new one.
Thanks for the reply, I'll consolidate old and new folders.

We have to change the location because the old one is not allowed in Vista.

No problem, and thanks for the explanation.  ;D
