Getting access denied on this one too.

Groovy that the Gatekeeper thing has been addressed. :)

All good now!

BTW, MC 22 works fine, as expected, on macOS 10.12 Sierra. ;)

Installs and works without issue.

As I reported today in another thread, adding VST plugins doesn't work any more.  This seems to have happened some time after 21.0.83, as it works in that release, but it doesn't work in 21.0.91, and similarly with this release.

Gatekeeper issue fixed.

Working good on OS X 10.11.6.

I restored a couple libraries. Everything came over fine.

Tagging works fine.

Playback is fine.

I'll try handheld sync later.

I have a question which might be stupid, but...

Does the Mac version of MC22 not have the Sox resampling?

It's Windows-only, for now at least.

The icon for media server is not showing up in my system, 10.10.5.  After importing music JRiver does an Audio Analysis, even though I have that option unchecked.

404. That’s an error. The requested URL /mediacenter/channels/v22/latest/MediaCenter220012.dmg was not found on this server. That’s all we know.

I was trying to dowload in China but was getting a 404. Just tried using my VPN software and now it is downloading properly.

I upgraded this morning to MC22. Everything fine. I did not see a lot of the changes which were promised like theater view, etc, but I assume they will come in later builds. Question, where does MC22 put its user data. MC21 did put data into the Documents folder on the MAC. There is no reference to MC22 in that folder.
Can I safely delete MC21 and all its user data now?

Back up your library and uninstall MC21 when you're happy with MC22.

You can expect to see Theater View in about a month.

ok....changes eventually did update in JRemote...it just took a while.
all seems good.

Installed and restored library ok on El Capitan 10.11.6.

I did have a few issues:
1) The settings that I had for MC21 included running Media Network. That used to show a Media Server icon in the Menu Bar. I'm not seeing that now. Is that by design or indicative of something wrong? The DLNA server seems to work OK - I can receive from it on other devices.

2) Gizmo web control presents a completely blank page.

3) For a while, MC wouldn't shut down fully when I clicked on either File/Exit or "Media Centre 22"/Quit. The UI would go away, but a task remained running (visible with Activity Monitor). Restart wouldn't work until that task was killed. Normal quit did not suffice - it required a "force quit".
That remained a consistent behaviour for a number of start/stop cycles, then suddenly it fixed itself. I hadn't rebooted or anything, but I was fiddling with the server configuration - enabling and disabling DLNA while I verified the situation described in point 1 above. Seems fine now...

4) I'm getting lots of logged messages of the form: "Class XXX is implemented in both /Applications/Media Center 22.app/Contents/MacOS/Media Center 22 and /Applications/Media Center 22.app/Contents/MacOS/Plugins/YYY.dylib. One of the two will be used. Which one is undefined." Both XXX and YYY have lots of values. Looks like you've got the same set of ObjectiveC libraries in many files - presumably this will be refined as the code settles down?

Keep put the great work!!
Brian

MC21 for Mac was unable to rip a CD mounted in an external optical drive.  Has this issue been repaired in MC22 for Mac?

Not sure why you can't rip from an external drive but MC21 rips from an optical drive plugged into my MacBook Air.
