The Media Center logo is appearing in the wrong location on my Mac. How do I fix this?
-
That's pretty weird, never seen that before.
You can retry resetting all of the screen positions in
Tools->Options->Tree & View ->Advanced->Reset Window Position Settings and restart.
If that doesn't fix it, what version of Mac OS and hardware do you have (including video layout)?
-
I reset the window positions and that has cleared up the issue. Will monitor and report if it returns. Thanks for the help

It's back. I started a remote session to my Mac from my iPad and clicked the show Media Center button and the JRiver logo appeared on the screen (see attached). Fortunately, though I cannot remember exactly what I did next, the JRiver logo went away when I started playing a playlist.
-
Are you running Media Server?
-
Yes, see attached graphic
-
What are you running on your iPad that gives you a
"Show Media Center"
button?
-
When I launch Media Center it automatically puts a Media Center icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen. I thought that was programmed by JRiver. The icon offers two choices: Show Media Center and Close Media Server

Ok, I got the impression you were doing that remotely.
I'm not able to duplicate what you are seeing so far.
Perhaps some more information, like your monitor setup and whether or not media server is playing when you click on the Show Media Center option.

It's back! Opened Media Center 28 directly from my Mac and the JRiver logo is back
-
When you do that from the Dock it just sends a message to the running MC to display it's UI.
