Title: port forwarding using AT&T homebase ZTE Model: Z700A
Post by: nobody40 on September 15, 2016, 01:05:21 pm
I had dishnet internet and it worked perfectly till I dropped that service and switched over to AT&T.  I go into their router and I setup port forwarding, 52199, with no issues and it still doesn't work.  I read:

"I then called AT&T and spoke with someone in T/S supposedly familiar with Home Base system and was told ports cannot be opened/forwarded because system was 4G LTE"

Any ideas?

The AT&T tech support person may be wrong unless they forbid outside access.

Your problem may be a typo somewhere.

I also have this problem with the Z700A.  I don't seem to be able to do port forwarding.  Is there another way, P2P (Plug 'n' Play)?
