I am considering "porting" MO 4Media to iOS. The interface would look and behave the same as the Android version (see https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,114964.0.html). Features would be almost the same: I don't think gapless audio playback to the device would be possible and I'm unsure about video playback in external apps. Of course, Android Auto and Android TV would not be supported in the iOS version.
Please post here if you would be interested in an iOS version. It would be an annual subscription like the Android version, but probably a little more than $5 due to the ongoing developer costs for iOS. Feel free to post what you would be willing to pay as well.
Thanks.

Interested only if "Download files with offline playback" feature will be available on iOS version too
-
YES!!!! $10-15/year no problem if the quality and features are there!!
-
I just tried it out on Android.
Seems quick and easy to understand!

Thanks, bob.

absolutely interested.
bought your android version and happy to purchase and support an ios version. happy to help fund the efforts.
if you can get it working on apple tv then that would be absolutely ideal!

Count me in , hopefully there will be ongoing development.

There doesn't seem to be much interest. Would the 4 of you be willing to pay $25 each ;D?
-
Sadly you're correct but yes on the $25. Hey $100 a year: you'll be getting paid $.05 an hour. What more do you need?
-
If you have 4 people saying probably, you can count on 40 people buying, maybe lots more.
It should sell about as well as it does for Android.
-
Yeah, you'd probably have to start with a small user base from scratch here since I suspect most users are just waiting for the app to be released first before committing. You might have to take the risk and get the annual subscription, develop and release the iOS app and build the user base. It'll likely be slow at first, but word of mouth gets around and the user base will grow enough until its worthwhile and sustainable.
And if it doesn't work out after one year, you can cut your losses and not renew the subscription. But I suspect it'll probably start becoming popular before the end of the first year.

Beta testing is in progress.

Happy to subscribe :)

Late answer, but yes, I would definitively be interested.
Count me in.

Count me in as well if I’m not too late!

Will CarPlay be supported?

Will CarPlay be supported?
Not initially, but I will consider it for the future.

It has been "fun" trying to get this accepted to the store. After all my effort, they are now threatening to remove my developer account due to unspecified "fraudulent or dishonest activity" associated with the app?! I have appealed but I don't have much reason to be optimistic since they seem to not be willing to allow me to respond to any specifics.
-
That's not good. Let us know if we can help in any way.
-
Thanks, Jim.
-
It's a miracle! The app was finally accepted. I started a new thread to discuss.

Great news, nice one.
