Title: Convolution
Post by: arrowc on March 29, 2023, 03:02:37 pm
How to setup "Automatically switch filter based on input format"  I am using wave file impulse.  Tried naming "Sound 2.0_441" "Sound 5.1_96" and so on. But it will not change automatically.   Output set to 5.1 JRSS mixing.

Zones and Zoneswitch

It's not a zone issue

File name format is stated in https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Convolution#Automatic_Resampling

When you say it is not switching, what is it doing?

It plays at the sample rate I have loaded.   The directions under Convolution is for .cfg files I am using wav, does that make a difference
Do the files have to be in a specific folder?

You will need to describe the problem more specifically, use pics of DSP studio as necessary. Sample rate is specified in output format  so "sample rate I have loaded" is unclear what you are talking about

Sorry for the confusion.  Here are some photos.

Ok so you have created each sample rate yourself but do not use a cfg file. As far as I know, it only looks at cfg files for this auto switch.

However,  given MC should be resampling your filter anyway, how would you tell the difference (between MC resampling on the fly and your offline readable trampled resampled filters)?

I Can't. Thank you for your help though!
