Title: Minimum column spacing is now too wide
Post by: Arcadian on April 06, 2023, 02:06:50 pm
In the past I could shrink a column down to be just wide enough to display the info I needed. Such things as 'Disc #' and 'Track #' and others with compact metadata could be really small allowing more columns and information on screen before scrolling. Recently i've found that if I try to shrink them down the columns keep resetting to a minimum that is much wider. Far too wide for the metadata displayed. I imagine this behaviour may have been changed to ensure the column header is always readable. I find this really wasteful on smaller displays. Is there a way to disable this behaviour and shrink columns down as small as needed? If not can we have this feature added or the behaviour reverted?

Make sure auto size is off.

Options > Tree & View > Auto size columns

I love this software. Heaven is a config setting for everything :)
