With the latest MC22.0.33 repository download, I lost my Master License and had to restore it in order for MC to open. I also lost my entire library and settings. On top of that Help > about says I have MC 22.0.33, but the center window at the top of the main screen says I have "JRiver Media Center 21". What's going on?

I am also experiencing this problem. I lost my license, entire library, and all settings. In addition the Main Screen also states "JRiver Media Center 21" though in "Help" -> "About Media Center" it lists Build 22.0.33. Modern cards skins and the logo in the Mint Menu are gone as well. I attempted to purge JRiver, re-download from the repo and ended up with the same results. Please Fix!
Linux Mint 18, JRiver Build 22.0.33, Schiit Modi DAC.

Exactly the same here too with the build 22.0.33 on elementary Loki.
-
Confirmed.

And here on Mint 18.

What architecture(s) are you all using?

It looks like the build got mixed up with mediacenter 21.
If you reinstall it you should be back to where you were (it looks in a different place for the library than MC 21).
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get install --reinstall mediacenter22
or get the package from
http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/channels/v21/latest/MediaCenter-22.0.33-amd64.deb (http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/channels/v22/latest/MediaCenter-22.0.33-amd64.deb)
and install it:
sudo dpkg -i MediaCenter-22.0.33-amd64.deb

We apologize for the problem.

It's still messed up.
http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/channels/v21/latest/MediaCenter-22.0.33-amd64.deb
Is uploaded to the MC21 folder, not MC22.

Thanks, I just moved it.
I assume most everyone is using the repos. They are separate from the file download site.

I did Bob's recommended clean and reinstall via the terminal and it looks like everything is back to normal and I am getting version 22.0.33.
Thanks, that was a close call.

Update via Synaptic this evening works fine and fixed all mess up.
Thanks for the quick fix
