Title: How sensitive is the JR Remote?

I have one particular remote where I have to be stupidly accurate for the thing to work (like pointing it within ±1° of the 3mm dia receiver).

OTOH, I have other remotes that I can bounce off the back wall of the room and they work just fine.

What's the goss on the JR?

We don't sell a Media Center Remote any longer.  The supply dried up.

Poor performance could be dead batteries.

I tested a lot of remotes a number of years ago.  The HP remotes were always reliable.
