Title: Context Menu broken
Post by: rolf_eigenheer on August 23, 2021, 07:51:44 am
Right click on Artist, Album does no more offer 'Play' and 'Add to Playing Now'.
This happens on all my computers which use the same lib. Is there a setting which I might have activated by accident ?

Can anybody confirm that this works on his computer. Just need to know if I'm hunting a bug or if this is the planned behavior.

I get the option for play, along with a lot more menu options than you are getting.

I cannot imagine it is a setting, but scoured thru them anyway. I could not find anything that looks like it controls what is shown in context menus.   I would offer some possible things to look into or consider, but I have no idea what would cause that.  Hopefully someone else will chime in.  Good luck!

Could you send a library backup along with instructions about what view you're in to matt at jriver dot com?

I'll see if I can reproduce.

You should also try MC28.

Thanks.

Thanks for the backup.  It was because "Enable pane tagging" was off.

Next build of MC28:
Changed: A pane right-click menu would be really limited if "Enable pane tagging" was not enabled.  Now it is the same either way.

Thanks.

I disable Pane Tagging, because it is too easy to change something by accident.
