Title: DVD Player - no sound
Post by: bob.mcc.ct on July 14, 2021, 09:44:43 am
I am trying to play a DVD and get no sound. Same goes for a second DVD player app I have.  The following is the response I received when informing the DVD seller of this problem:
The issue is likely an audio setting on the DVD player (we've seen this a few times). When the video is playing, (not in the menu, but actually playing) select either "Features" or "Audio" depending on the player. Whichever audio selection is set, choose the other one. I am not sure why this default setting isn't the audio channel chosen by some DVD players, but this has been the solution each time we've encountered the problem. Let me know if this helps!

I have tried to find such a selection choice as he mentioned in both my DVD players but could not identify the choice selector or options anywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Bob McConnell

Read about the On Screen Display (OSD) on the wiki.  Use the arrow keys to access and control it.
