Highlite your whole library
In the action window click File Properties
Then stats
Then select Artist album, or Album.
Paste it into Notepad or excel.

Here is a way to do it if you keep the albums in separate folders. This gives you a bit more control and the smartlist will always be up-to-date.
First make a smartlist using this rule:
[Media Type]=[Audio] ~limit=-1,1,[Filename (path)]
Then customize your view for that smartlist like this:

The smartlist should now look like this:

You can print a file list directly or if you like to you can select all and copy-paste to e.g. Excel for adjusting your printout.

Hi There,
I'm really challenged with smart lists - I want to do this but I don't understand the config - [Media Type]=[Audio] ~limit=-1,1,[Filename (path)]
Could someone post a screenshot of the actual smart list please?
Many thanks,
Mitch

Hi Mitch,
What is your MC version? The smartlist configuration system has changed since MC11. The rule should work with newer versions as well, but you need to click the Import/Export button in the smartlist editor. The button opens a window in which you can type or paste the rule.
