Title: Can I stop JRiver importing MP3's from watch folders?
Post by: jabwylie on April 10, 2016, 04:55:01 am
I only use JRiver for high res and lossless music. However, when my external drive drops out, it goes off and re-imports all the mp3's I've said to delete from library (not from computer).
Can I configure auto import to ignore certain files (there are lots of lossless files in iTunes folder, hence that's why it's watching that one)

Tools > Options > Import > Auto import settings.  Edit the directory.

I can get there, but how do I say 'Watch this folder but DONT import mp3"s?'

From that dialog, click on the folder in question and click the Edit button.  From there, go to the middle where it says "import these file types".  Click on Audio to expand it, which will show you ALL of the file types it's monitoring for. Select or deselect what you want.
