Title: DLNA Improvements in MC22?
Post by: chriswimlett on May 20, 2016, 12:16:43 pm
Are there any plans to improve DLNA in MC22?  I'm mostly very happy with MC and have preordered the upgrade as I don't think it has even close rivals as a library manager.  But I do find the DLNA connection to my Naim SuperUniti prone to delays in synchronising track and volume changes.  Also, using pause always causes a track to jump back to the beginning.  Things are better if I use the Naim app and MC as a UPnP server, but I much prefer JRemote and the MC desktop.

We will continue to refine our support for DLNA.

On the Media Network board, find user AndrewFG.  Read a few of his posts.  You could use his software (link in his signature) to check your renderer.

Thanks Jim, I'll do that.
