Title: Apple Music with lossless streaming and download

Is the equation for streaming services that makes a lot of loss (money not lossless music)  :) now a different one?

Do we have one with lossless streaming that makes money?

The problem is, Apple doesn't allow implementations of their streaming service like Tidal and Qobuz do, so it doesn't matter if they make money or not, you'd still have to use the Apple Music app to use their service.

Amazon also announced lossless streaming at no extra cost for anyone with Unlimited.

If only Apple would've launched lossless downloads from the iTunes Store. I have a few iTunes exclusive albums that I'd like to have lossless copies of.

I sometimes worry that managing a local lossless audio collection will soon be even more out of fashion than vinyl was in the 90s - - only it won't have a "resurgence" in fifteen years. Maybe it already has, based on my friends and family.

I know the opinion of JRiver is that streaming is financially unsustainable as a business plan. I agree.  But does that even matter for Apple and Amazon, two of the most profitable companies in history?
