I recently built a new computer and upgraded from XP to Vista. At the end of the install of MC 11.1 I got several error messages saying the encoders could not be installed. I tried reinstalling the program several times. Even deleted all encoders and reinstalled. I tried manualy loading them with no success. I've had MC 11.1 for quite a few years and it worked perfectly before with XP. I've never had to reinstall it till now. Is this an incompatability problem with Vista? Or am I doing something wrong? I did reregister the program successfully after first installing. I also tried looking for a thread here to see if anyone else had the same problem. Couldn't find one.

MC 11.1 predates Vista.
Vista is only officially supported in MC 12 and MC 13.
Thanks, and welcome to Interact.

Thanks for the reply. Do I have to deinstall 11.1 before upgrading?

To get an upgrade price, you need to install the older version and license it. Then install the new one.

OK, Thanks again.
