Title: JRiver's player for Cdigix, the college music service
Post by: JimH on October 24, 2006, 10:18:51 am
Here's another player JRiver has done.  It's a variation of the one we did for MusicNet's Performerdigital service.

Cdigix provides music to entire university campuses.

Minimum Requirements

Internet Explorer version 6. This may be downloaded from: Microsoft Internet Explorer Download

Is IE 6.0 really the requirement?

I thought IE 5.5 was the lowest for MC

I think Yahoo\Apple Only Claims they have 1 Million Songs, CDigix has 2.5 Million Songs

If you believe Apple:
"The iTunes Store also features the world’s largest catalog of online music with over 3.5 million songs and has sold a stunning 1.5 billion songs, making it the world’s most popular digital music store."

I see.

What Is Weird Is I Can Find Songs On Yahoo That Is Not On iTunes Or Visa Versa.

I think iTunes Works better Than Yahoo. Sometimes when you click on a song another song plays. so it seems the database is a bit screwed up in some places.

Both Of Them Have A Problem Searching The Data Base.

Never had a problem searching MC provided the database was good it was using.

You currently have two MusicNet Services. Is is possible to link for example Cdigix to the “ordinary” Media Center? I.e. to access Ctrax from MC.

Also, I tried to play around with the Ctrax and every time I access a page a error message shows up and tells me that a script is causing an error. It is line 22, character 9 if that helps at all . . .

Cheers,
