Title: Can't stream over cell network [Solved]
Post by: mknox999 on April 24, 2013, 11:40:34 pm
Galaxy Note 2 on sprint, all works fine via wifi, either at home or abroad, but not on the cell data network. Most things work just cant stream music or video. I have tried everything I can think of even a factory reset and it still wont go. Other phones connect just fine via cell data network.

Any other possible solutions?

Thanks

Mike

Is it possible your carrier is blocking server content with a mime type of MP3?

I know that Sprint phones often have a Sprint http proxy configured that can get in the way for audio streaming.
It can be disabled, but instructions are phone specific (eg, you must google it to find the exact steps).

Yep, proxy reconfigured(removed) and its working now, very annoying problem.

Thanks!
