Title: "no mountable file systems" when trying to open ISO track
Post by: nycjazz on June 30, 2020, 12:36:43 am
Hi
Not new to MC, but I stopped using at 22. Installed 26 and  when trying to play (on my Mac Pro) ISO files. I get the no mount message. Regular RCDs plays fine.   I have my Mac MIDI output set to 24/96 as well as MC to downsample hi-rez to 24/96.   I put data and music when I imported so the CUE and ISO files are there, and can see each track (single layer DSD only).  File type shows as ISO, and   I have checked the forum, but nowhere do I see this issue in the recent MCs. I am waiting for a new DAC (few months) so I want to listen to my sacds 24/96 through my macpro for now.  I always did bitstream fine of DSD in MC22. Thanks!

Hmmm, you might need to change the data type for the ISO(s) from whatever it's set to (data? video?) to music.

Thanks.  File type is set to ISO.  Media type is set of Audio. Same message. I closed and reopened the app too.  Bitstream set to none (reg CDs plays fine); Greater than 768 set to 96. Is there some sort of plug-in?  My Mac is current generation.

Thanks.  File type is set to ISO.  Media type is set of Audio.
An ISO file is a container.   It should be Data.
