Title: JRemote Connection Issues [Solved]
Post by: Manfred on September 05, 2019, 04:27:06 am
After playing a series of video's (S01E01,S01E02,..) JRemote lost connection to my video renderer (pc based). Device is iPad Air.

What fixes it, depends:
- Sometimes lets point JRemote to my server and then reconnect it to the video renderer
- Power off, power on the iPad
- Restart the video renderer

Any ideas what is causing the issue?

Changing to the 5GHz Wifi channel solves the problem.

If switching to the 5 GHz network seems to fix it, you might have other devices or appliances where you are interfering with the 2.4 GHz wireless signal.

One thing you could try is changing the 2.4 GHz channel to something else. I use channel 9 for my 2.4 GHz network and I don't experience interference issues.
