Title: Zoom - persistent save option
Post by: james_smith1976 on April 23, 2010, 01:22:56 pm
Is there a way of setting the default zoom option for videos?

I want to play at native resolution by default and it's a little irritating having to set to 100% every time I play a file...

The mouse scroll wheel will zoom, but they should normally start at 100%.  Right click on a movie for some options.

Thanks, scrolling is another way of setting zoom, but the default setting is "Fit Window" not 100%.

If I change it to 100% then exit the file it always goes back to "Fit Window" when opening another file.

Is there a way of setting 100% as the default zoom setting? - Or even better, for MC to simply store and use the last used setting? If not that would be really useful - changing it every time I change files is quite annoying.

I realise that fit to window probably suits most people's needs most of the time, but I need to be able to view files at native res.

Maybe there's a registry entry I could change as a workaround?

Thanks

Zoom setting is saved in the library on per-file-basis.  If you set a file to 100%, it will be played in 100% zoom the next time.

Ok, that seems to work for say an avi file, but it doesn't for my dvd (vob) rips - they always default to Fit Window.
