Any way to restore all the audio settings for my players? They are all gone after the MC 24 update.
-
Try restoring a backup from the previous version. Read carefully when you do.
-
Jim,
I did that and got my library back the way it was. Player set ups are gone.
-
Did you also select "Restore settings"?
-
Yes I did
-
When you say "players", what do you mean?
-
Players/Zones...Where the music is playing from .
I have a Violectric Desktop DAC, a PS Audio DAC on the Network, A Chord Mojo DAC.
All take different audio set ups.
-
Jim?
Any other thoughts/advice?
-
Open both versions and copy the settings by hand.

Also check to make sure Media Network is Enabled in Tools->Options->Media Network and that all three advanced options are checked (renderer, server and controller).

All on.
It was a giant PITA, but I got all settings copied over.
This should have transferred over. I think you have a bug on your hands.
-
Agreed. I can't see all of my zones, playlists from 23, or any of my organizational lists.

Todd,
How did you do it "by hand?" So I can try the same thing. Thanks!
-
My memory at first, but I eventually opened up the previous version along side the new version and made sure they were the same.

Not here, either.
