I have set up the scheduler to wake me as an alarm clock every day (lovely!)
It's set to play a smartlist (2 hours of a random genre).
But if i don't use MC for anything else during the day, then i'm woken up with exactly the same darn tracks day after day!
Is it possible to put in a "refresh" or similar before the scheduler kicks in?
Thanks....

you can add a refresh
by adding
Task: Commandline
Program: .../MC13.exe
Arguments:/MCC 22007
-
Excellent thanks - i'll give it a go....

Where can I get a list of command line arguments ?

Sadly this doesn't work. Runs perfectly on the command line - but doesn't refresh if put into the scheduler as above.
I assume it is supposed to work like this - anybody else tried it?

i dont use the sheduler. but just a small guess. are you using thv, because it seems that 22007 does not work with thv. an other shot... i would use mcc 22007,0
and how you startup the smartlist. with mc13.exe \playreplace etc?
:)

sorry, but i did try (before) :)
..and again (now) and it works for me
my small test: run refresh command 1 minute before the playlist should start, i also tried in Theather view and it works..
you do use mc13.exe placed in system32 folder ?
another way to to this is to restart MC in time before your wake up call, but then you have to use another scheduler
-
Not in system32, no - that would explain it. I'll try it tonight, thanks....

sorry adam, i should have been more precise about that
happy wake up ;)
