Title: Can't adjust volume in MC 23. At zero

I replaced my external drive & pointed the library to the new location & everything seemed fine. Now I can't adjust the volume. The slider doesn't move on screen & the app, just jumps back to zero when I slide it. What is going on? What can I look at?

Never mind, MC23 was locked up again!!! It showed the music playing & the audio graphic was moving, but the vol was at zero.
