video refuses to play on my imac/os x 10.10.5 (message: ‘something went wrong’) since version 21.0.45
i’ve tried all of these versions: 210045/48/49/50/55/63/64/66/77/80 = No Go
video playback DOES work (with the exact same settings/library) with 210031 + 25
what i did notice: versions 210025 + 31 also give me thumbnails of the actual video…with all following versions i get only the generic camera thumbnails.
since i don’t see others complaining i figured it must be on my end.
any ideas anyone?

Maybe try turning video support OFF, restart MC, turn video support ON, restart MC, then try again?
I've been using (mostly) the latest versions of MC21 for Mac and use it for video daily. 21.0.77 is currently working fine here.
Good luck.
Brian.

Did you try updating?
-
ok...updating from within MC worked.
THANKS!
that makes me wonder though....what's the difference from dl outside MC?
i noticed that after the initial 'updated' install something else dl'd from within MC after the 1st launch...
