Title: JRemote: Customise Startup Screen?
Post by: Rafal Lukawiecki on October 12, 2014, 04:50:18 am
Is it possible to customise what screen JRemote opens with upon startup? Currently it always shows me the same, "tutorial" screen with the tips pointing with arrows to various parts of the UI. I'd like to set it so that it always starts with the view of my Albums, without having to click "Audio/Album" but ideally this would be a settings I could change.

Have I missed something and is it, perhaps, already possible?

It`s not possible at the moment.

Neither is it really possible to do this as the data returned from the webservice is dynamic in nature.
That is, id`s of folders and files may be different from one connection to the other.

What could be done is to automatically load the first menu item on connection.

I see. How about setting a per-server default, which could fall-back to the tutorial screen on error?
