I'm trying to get my tuner card working with the new Media Center. When I stop TV, MC crashes (Send/do not send error).
Do scanned channels get saved to the library? It appears that they do. I use the server library in read only mode on all my HTPC boxes. How can I have MC keep the scanned channels between restarts?

Email me a log after you get a crash (send both Log.txt and Previous Log.txt when in doubt which one contains useful info).
TV channels are saved in database. Are you saying your using read only mode prevents TV channels from being properly saved? If so, you will need to run it in writable mode once for channel scanning. Once scanned, the channels stay in the database.

The problem is that on my HTPC boxes, I have determined that the only workable method for systematically setting them all up is for me to set them to use the server's MC database and since it is running all the time for UPnP devices, I have to enable read-only ability. If I could get things working with a local DB, that would be fine, but the problem is then I can't easily update the library contents--DVDs don't auto import nicely...plus, then I would have 9 computers auto scanning the server which could introduce a lot of traffic....it's complicated but what I've setup is the best I could come up with that worked for my needs.
Of course additions/modifications to MC would help my situation but there are so many ways to solve the problems I'm trying to solve it's tough to pick which one might be appealing to J River--and get added.

The latest update 101 appears to have solved my TV crashing problems. So I'll put this topic on hold until I run into another problem with the card.

Have you first scanned for digital channels? Further more, are there any entries in this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JRiver\Media Center 13\TV Settings\Digital Channels
If not, then I know what caused the crash. The EPG scanning needs some overhaul due to recent changes. For now, you must make sure that you have a list of channels in the above registry key.
