Title: How often does MC Library update? DLNA/Gizmo Updating?

HI there,

I have now transitioned to using gizmo on my phone to control video to my TV.  I have noticed that when new media is added to the library, the RECENT section gets updated immediately.  However, if I go to DISK the files do not show up UNLESS I close MC and the server and then re-open it.  This is a huge hassle.  Is there an option to push library changes to gizmo (or to any other DLNA device as this is a problem on my TV apps as well)? 

This seems like a huge weakness that could be easily corrected.

If you don't get replies to this it's probably because the Subject doesn't tie in with the problem you have. Your issue is related to DNLA/Gizmo receiving updates rather than library updates.

I would think this should already work, at the very least with Gizmo or JRemote. I'll check into that.

Thanks Hendrik,

I have tried it on both JRiver and Gizmo as well as on Kodi and the Video Software on my Sony TV.

It is annoying that anytime new video is added, we can only access it via RECENT or I need to turn the server off and on.

24.0.77 (https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,119835.msg828463.html#msg828463) contains a possible fix for this issue. We hope it resolves all occurrences of stale data.
