Probably the wrong place to post this, but is JRiver for Android TV still a thing? When I search, the only discussion I can find is under MC 26, and it hasn't been active for sometime.

Yes it is but I don't think it has gotten much attention lately. It got updated to the exoplayer that supports Dolby Vision a while ago and watching DV rips is the only time I use it.
