Title: Output Format DSP v JRemote Inconsistency
Post by: Trun on July 16, 2020, 12:41:39 pm
I have my pc soundcard connected to a DAC via a toslink cable. The DAC specifies toslink capability as 24/192.

To be within potential toslink limits I selected 24/96 in the DSP settings, #1 attached.
DSP shows output as 24/96 via WASAPI. #2 attached.
JRemote shows tracks being payed as 16/44, 3# attached.
Unfortunately my DAC does not indicate what sample rate is being played.

Should I try other DSP settings to get consistency?
Is this situation normal for JRemote?

Would appreciate any comments, Regards
