Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has a fix. I just downloaded JRMC12. It looks like a nice product - on the player/desktop side. I've had no problems playing music and video, however I can't get a single picture to display. My Netgear EVA700 simply displays "invalid link" if I try to select an individual photo or use any sort of a playlist - smart or not.
The problem is specific to this software. Pictures display fine when using Twonky, Tversity or WMP11 (But they all have their problems, too!).
Any idea's why my digital photo's won't run from my XP SP2 machine?
Thanks,
MM

P.S. - the Media Center 12 player will display them fine on the desktop. They simply will not display on my television.

Does your device have a special requirement for size? For example -- 640 x 480?

Not that I'm aware of. Media Center 11 displayed them properly. WMP11 will display my pics, but they're compressed. Tversity and Twonky will display them properly, but those servers have other issues...

What format are your photos? Are they a format supported by the UPnP device?

Theyre just plain old JPEG files. Like I say, WMP11, Twonky and Tversity will play them on the TV using the Netgear device. With Media Center, I can pull up the file names - using the smartlist or file locationr - but if I try to actually select something to display, the response I get is "Invalid".
Im wondering...when I installed MC12, I did not make it the default player for JPEG files. I reasoned that the media server should still serve them up just fine. I have gone into tools on MC12 and associated MC12 with JPEG, but that didnt help.

Can you make a sniff and send it to me (gateley @ jriver.com) as described here:

I'll figure out what's going on.
Thanks,
