Please download and install MC16.0 from the Download Page (http://www.jriver.com/download.html).
Purchase through the Help menu in MC16. Upgrades are currently $26.98.
Please check our Wiki article (http://wiki.jrmediacenter.com/index.php/Upgrade_to_MC16) for more complete instructions.
Please post any questions in this thread.

I assume you sent that email to everyone who has any version of MC. I have MC 16.0.116 and I still got the email--that doesn't mean I have to upgrade, does it? Considering I already have MC 16. If this is the case, I could see how some people who just bought MC 16 could be confused, especially people who just bought MC 16 recently (like me).

Past policy has been that no upgrade fee is required if you have a license for the current version. Upgrades have traditionally been to the next higher major version.

Thanks--my MC just auto-updated itself to 16.0.121, but I think some people might be confused... or maybe I'm just easily confused!!

I did upgrade to MC16 from MC15 and all is well. However, I did note that MC15 remains on my computer, and one must be careful, since if you accidentally open MC15 and rip new files or change your playlist, etc., it does not make the corresponding changes in MC16.
So my question is, can I delete (or uninstall) MC15 now that I have MC16 so that this does not occur any more (and frees up some space on my hard drive)?
Thanks!!!

It's safe to uninstall v15.
Thanks for the upgrade.
