Title: JRiver Media Center 26 for Linux can not play videos
Post by: wellywu on January 12, 2020, 11:25:44 am
I removed JRiver Media Center 25 and installed Media Center 26.0.15 64 bit for Linux Mint and I figured out how to use the .mjr file to license it successfully. However, it says that something went wrong when trying to play any video files. I am using Linux kernel 5.0.21 64 bit and Ernst Sjostrand's Mesa 20.0-devel Ubuntu PPA with the AMD Compiler patches enabled. VideoLan Converter has no problems playing video files. For some reason, JRiver Media Center 26.0.15 64 bit can not play any video files locally or when I connect to my media server running Microsoft Windows 10 64 bit Pro edition version 1909 and JRiver Media Center 26.0.15 64 bit for Windows 10 64 bit. What technical information do you need from me and how can I get that to you to troubleshoot this issue?

Update to 26.0.16, there was an issue in .15 that would've caused this.

Ok. Going to update later today and test it again. Thanks.

I'm unable to play a BD backup on Linux with the latest build.
