Title: What NVidia cards support HDMI 1.4 for 3D and bitstreaming?
Post by: cncb on November 26, 2012, 08:11:59 pm
It's surprisingly hard for me to find this information.  How about the GeForce GT 610?  Or would an ATI Radeon 6450 be a better choice (I know this supports 3D)?  I ask because I have been using built-in Intel graphics for the last several years but have room in my server for a "real" card.  I used ATI cards in the past but the drivers seemed a little buggy at the time.  Thanks for any help.

This is what I now use on the HTPC - Asus ENGTX660-DC2-2GD5 GF GTX660 DirectCU II PCI-E 3.0, 2GB it will do what you want and handle the latest Jinc3 + AR in madVR on all std content.

Thanks.  That's more card than I need but while the manufacturer's product pages are no help I finally went straight to the NVidia site and they thankfully have the details I need.  According to the NVidia site the GT 610 supports both 3D and bitstreaming.
