The Performer subscription service will be ending as of June 30th, Microsoft is shutting down the DRM servers that handled the licensing. We are looking at other options for streaming music.
"Purchase Only" accounts will still be supported for purchasing DRM free high quality MP3 tracks and albums. Existing subscription accounts will automatically be converted to "Purchase Only" type accounts on July 1st. Subscription renewal charges in June will be pro-rated for the number of days left in the month.
Many thanks to all who participated.

What does this mean? What is a "purchase only" account and what is a "subscription" account?
How do I know which I have?
-
Are you streaming music or are you buying tracks?
-
I suppose buying, downloading to my computer.
-
Oh, that's bad news! :(
Please keep us informed on the 'other options for streaming music'. Do you think there will be another option soon? Thanks.
-
Still looking for the answer. I download not stream. Will this change affect me?
-
Yes.
-
Then how do I cancel the subscription? I would think instead of "yes" I would have got what the change would be and how to stop it.
-
Really need to know how to cancel this subscription

I canceled it for you. You're paid up through June 23rd and then it will terminate.

Thanks

Any update on this? I couldn't put off updating Windows any longer so now the prior subscription service that I was using with MC (Rhapsody/Napster) no longer works. What are my options for a music subscription that works with MC and a multizone audio setup? Or is my best option to just plug in Chromecast Audio dongles to my multizone amp now?
