Hi Folks. I am using JRemote to control my Lumin S1 player and have been pretty happy with how JRemote has been working. Since the last two upgrades to 3.09 and 3.10, the "clear now playing / clear playlist" function has not been working properly. All songs in the "now playing or playlist view" remain and the music continues uninterrupted. I can edit the playlist and delete individual songs and the music stops when the last song on the list is deleted.
This function does work, however, if I play to "this device" whether it be an iPod or an iPhone. Please help with a resolution to this issue.

What device and iOS version are you using?
There is also a "Clear playlist" option available when you long press a regular track, does that work for you?

In my case the problem is caused due to the following change in JRiver. I have reported it in the JRiver 20.0.41 Update thread as have others. Hoping the next update fixes this issue.
20.0.38 (11/13/2014)
5. Changed: Added a confirmation box to the Clear Playing Now command.

Hi and thanks for the responses.
I am using a 2nd Gen iPad, an iPad Air and an iPhone 6+ all with the latest iOS 8.1.1 but it occurred on the previous of iOS 8.1. The long press of a single track, although it brings up the "clear playlist" option, does not work.

Like amsco15 said, the problem could be the new confirmation box in the latest MC 20 version.
Sky King, Please verify if this is the issue:
After clearing playlist, take a look at MC and see if there is a confirmation box waiting for input.

yes there is a confirmation box on my PC hosting JRiver but I am downstairs running JRemote , so would guess the confirmation box should be on JRemote rather than JRiver at host

The confirmation will be suppressed in a coming build of MC.

The answer is "yes" there is a confirmation window on the PC that hosts MC whether the application is running or the Media Server function is the only thing functional.
Also good to hear that the notification will be suppressed in a future build. Maybe a configurable switch would be appropriate for those who like the feature.
Thanks much guys!
