Title: Podcast: Failure after 3 attempts
Post by: Antoine. on December 29, 2019, 04:00:55 pm
Hello,

Why do podcasts stop updating entirely when there've been no new episodes for a certain period of time... ?

I have to manually update some of them myself...

Still not working, half of my podcasts have to be updated manually...  ::)

Still the same bug, none of my podcasts update automatically anymore.

What's the URL of a Podcast that isn't working?  Have you tried the very latest MC 26?

All kinds of podcast like The Daily (NY Times) or Brexit Means (The Guardian)... I'm going to try it soon, I already have the license already!

Should I do something specific to transition from MC25 (apart from backing up)? Like uninstall 25 beforehand?

Talking about podcasts, have you considered moving them into their own section? I feel like they're clearly out of place in the streaming section...

Just install and go.  Uninstall the old version when you're ready.  We recently made some hopeful improvements to the user agent to make podcasts work better.

Install MC26.  Restore your license if necessary.

Uninstall MC25 when you're happy with it.
