Title: Asio output question
Post by: rrt on July 23, 2008, 10:37:04 am
I am using the asio output and have asio4all 2.8 installed.  Is Asio4all necessary?  I am running with my usb audio device, and empirical off-ramp, unmapped under Windows XP.  If asio4all is necessary, anyone know if any earlier builds sound any different or better?  Thanks, Rob

asio4all is a generic driver for cases where your sound card manufacturer doesn't provide an asio driver for their card.
