Title: Can JRemote play audio files that are stored on the iPad?
Post by: johnplink on January 10, 2016, 11:15:14 am
I read in a message (which I can longer find) that only iTunes can sync between a computer and an iPhone or iPad. I understand that JRemote can stream the library provided there is a wifi or cellular connection to the computer that contains the library.

Can JRemote play audio files that are stored on the iPhone or iPad?

No. JRemote does not have local storage support. It is streaming-only.

Thank you for the information. I'm looking for an alternative to iTunes for use on an iPad to be used in dance classes and do not want to be dependent upon a wifi or cellular connection.
