Title: Is USB Audio class 2.0 supported by JRiver for Android ?
Post by: triskadekaphobic on September 18, 2019, 08:10:11 am
Hi,

I connected my fancy Sony AF8 TV to my Hiface2 USB Audio device, I get distorted sound when the TV plays regular terrestrial channels.
The fact that I do get sound at all is a good sign and means that the hardware supports USB Audio class 2.0 but there is a software problem.
If I buy and install Android JRiver will it support USB Audio class 2.0 ? Will the player be able to play sound without distortions ?

JimH,

You have no idea or JRiver as a company has no idea ?  :)

JRiver has no special support for different types of USB.  The program talks to the OS.

Whether something will work or not can only be determined by trying it.  I haven't tried it.  Nobody at JRiver could tell you whether it would work.
