Title: Create favourites folder for a remote app
Post by: 3dedg3d on March 15, 2021, 01:00:42 pm
I want to collect my 'favourite' audio' albums in a single folder so that I can easily find them. Typically these are 24 bit hi res downloads. I am currently using mc 27 & I have tried creating a suitable folder in 'customize views for remote. The folders can be created but do not show up in a remote app, Gizmo or Naim.

Previous to mc 27 I used mc 19, where I successfully created a 'favourites! folder & applied a favourites tag ID to the albums. This does not appear possible in mc 27. The highly rated folder works on stars & tags all tracks & lists all tracks only not as albums, which isn't helpful. Any thoughts?

Create a custom tag [Favourite] as Integer , set your Favourite = 1

In Settings > Media Server > Configure DLNA server> Create View

Add Rule [Favourite] =1

If you are using JRemote look under the Advanced Section and do the same

If you need more help I take screenshots
