iPhone PLUS Screen Top blank.

I'm seeing this on my iPhone 7 Plus too. The default for a view is shifted down.
-
Same thing on an iPhone XS
-
also on an iPad Air2
-
iPad mini too
-
Haven't seen this on my mini2 or se.
Will give it a look.
-
We'll get to it.
It's not at the top of the list right now.
It's fine to bump this thread occassionally.
-
Been looking at it over the last few days..
-
3.29 too......
I need you to re-use 3.25........
-
There have been several recent updates of JRemote. I'm sorry if your problem isn't fixed.
3.26 / 3.27 / 3.28 / 3.29 All Problem....
How many updates do Problem need to complete???

No it’s not, but this is not a big problem (for me), it does not look ok but it’s not a functual problem.
I meant new functions in a new version like e.g. skipping from one picture to the next if there are more than one in a music folder. There are a lot of things which could make this great app even better.
-
Nothing has changed from 3.25 to 3.29 in the source with regards to these devices and spacing.
I cannot reproduce the issue seen in the original posters screen shots (garbled top/bottom of the screen) in any of the iDevice emulators in the debugger (I tried iPhone xR, iPhone 7 plus amongst others).
The display is spaced down from the top somewhat in the scroll list but scrolls up and down naturally.
I assume there is some change in the dev tools (which update frequently) that could have created the new centering, perhaps to deal with the notch on the newest models.
-
be stilll top blank bug........
add new play and cover overlap bug ........
-
That's right, changes are in the change log (bottom of the settings in JRemote).
We will let you know when that gets addressed.
The new "Bugs" are due to iOS 13 not any changes in JRemote.

Right... So you sent out an update to the stable IOS 13 and now it looks like nuts and it's Apple's fault? Are you unable to test in IOS13? If not, then don't release any updates since it looks far worse now. SMH.

Of course it's not worse.
It has the same issues with iOS 13 as it did with 3.29 but it fixes several issues that 3.29 had with versions of iOS <13.
Not everybody is running iOS13. I for one am not and there are plenty of devices that can't even run iOS13.
I'm a very long time Apple user. I also get frustrated with stuff breaking but it's APPLE breaking the Apps, not the other way around.
-
It's noticeably worse. See my screenshot. Search doesn't work. That's the main thing. So you're making fixes for people not on the latest software? Makes perfect sense.
-
You could just try to chill out a bit, it's not like we don't want it to work with iOS13!
Keeping up with UI changes that Apple makes that break things takes time and there are lots of other things that need attention as well.
Also the language it's written in requires VS Mac and that dev env sucks big time, the debugger almost doesn't work at all, it's a slow painful process.
