I have a rather large digital music collection (40,000 tracks and counting). I have been using iTunes as my media player for quite some time. Decided to try the J River Media Center product so I imported the collection. A number of the albums have one or more tracks listed in a separate segment of the library. For example, track 7 might be missing from the main list of tracks and a duplicate of the album will be shown just below with track 7 as the only track. How do I fix this so all tracks appear together in one album listing?j ?

Probably track 7 has a different Album Artist than the others, or is physically located in a different directory.
Select all the tracks for that album, and in the Action Window->Tag, look for [Varies] in the Album Artist. Also be certain the tracks are located in the same directory.
