So we now have phone control of Id, but are we developing remote software where the two are “networked” and allow cellular based streaming ?

You can use a phone to play from an Id over a cell network. Is that what you mean?
The wiki has a topic called Network Access (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Network_Access).

Kind of. Can you stream sources from a cell to the Id for playback via remote or panel ? Guess I’m asking if this works as opposed to the Id attached to a NAS type network.

If you want to use the phone as a server, then you need software running on it to do that. I think that BubbleUPnP might be able to serve files. We will also be able to do that soon with our Android Version. There's a thread on it on the forum.
