Title: Subtitles create a quick video pause

I have subtitle enabled, for shows and movies.

Between 2 or 3 releases ago, now everytime the subtitles are presented, the video stutters.

It's noticeable and have forced to turn subtitles off in some cases.

I'm using Media Center 28 / Windows and the new JRVR renderer.

Any suggestion on which setting to change ?

Subtitles can have some performance issues with JRVR in MC28, there are no settings to really affect it unfortunately. I would recommend to switch to MC29, where we spent a lot of effort on subtitle improvements to make the experience flawless and stutter-free.
