I'm looking for input/guidance on how to stream JRiver to four AVR's throughout my home. Is anyone using JRiver ID boxes? That looks like the easiest way to distribute server access but will the JRiver remote work with each one? Little info and can't seem to get a hold of anyone at JRiver.
I have a Mac Mini which is the family room Yamaha 3020 setup. Also want to stream to the Theater Yamaha 3040 and Master Bedroom Yamaha 730 - not all at the same time. There is a Denon 4306 used for six pairs of house audio.
All music is FLAC or MP4 on a Synology 1812+ and everything is wired ethernet.
Although the Yamaha app see's the Synology and can play any file, the UI isn't great. Would like JRiver App and then pick the Receiver (s) to play on. Not sure I can do that with MacMini. Airplay is only on the 3020/3040 receivers.
Ideas?
